I feel it’s my duty as a big-time record label executive to immerse myself in the local music scene. With that said don’t get the impression that I have to force myself to partake - it’s been an obsession brought on by the exceptional quality of music I actually stumble upon and the burning desire to find more. Although April will see my moving out of Philadelphia for the peaceful confines of the sticks I will still consider its scene ‘home’. It wasn’t easy narrowing this collection down to 27 jawns but I can assure you it won’t be the last notch in the Philamixington series.
